Staring into the Abyss

I’m just a few pages into Iron Fist #1 and damn is it soul crushingly painful. My poor baby! I love Danny so much this hurts.

…my love for Danny is not entirely rational which makes it all the more profound.

I am so glad he has an ongoing no matter what they put him through. I mostly mean that. lol.

There are things that I should probably be doing tonight, but I think I’ll just read comics. Lots of comics.

Okay, I love Daredevil and I love this creative team, but I am not loving the way they are playing coy about Foggy. I don’t believe for one second that he’s dead, because that moment would require much grieving and emotion from Matt and the fans instead of just vague references.

It’s also going to take me a while to get used to the new normal. I’m so used to Hell’s Kitchen that his new very public life in San Francisco is jarring for me.

Regardless he’s still my favorite. :D

okay, it’s time to read this week’s daredevil cause i’m worried about foggy.

i hate how some people were like debbie turned into such an annoying brat this season

yeah she’s a teenage girl

shit when i was 13/14 i was the worst debbie was calm compared to how i was

I thought Debbie was super realistic this season. Especially her issues with Fiona because Fiona is the closest thing she has to a real mother figure and it was rebellion time. Fiona doesn’t want her to grow up, but Debbie wants acknowledgment that she isn’t just a kid.

I didn’t love the rest of her story though because the much older guy with 13 year old girl squicks me even though they thankfully kept it non-sexual. It’s completely realistic that she would fall for him though.

Debbie is a great character!

A comma splice walks into a bar, it has a drink and then leaves.

A question mark walks into a bar?

Two quotation marks “Walk into” a bar.

A gerund and an infinitive walk into a bar, drinking to drink.

The bar was walked into by a passive voice.

Three intransitive verbs walk into a bar. They sit. They drink. They leave.

#I swear you are steve rogers dont lie to me

You wash up on a deserted island alone. Sitting on the sand is a box. What is in that box?

The TARDIS. Damn Jemma for already taking that one.

Hmmm…the first thing other than their answers that popped into my head was one of Iron Man’s suits. I don’t know why he would have lost a suit on the deserted island, but I’m certainly not going to take it for granted. Imma gonna let JARVIS fly me home.
